The Snyder County Conservation District voted to drop its Chapter 105 delegation agreement with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), effective October 1, 2006. This delegation agreement for certain functions under the Dam Safety and Encroachments Act delegated responsibilities to the Conservation District to receive and acknowledge receipt of notifications to use general permits. Other responsibilities included providing information and written materials to the public, conduct training and information sessions with interested parties and performing on-site investigations of complaints regarding illegal water obstructions and encroachments.

Therefore, all persons interested in applying for general permits must apply through the DEP's Northcentral Regional Office.  All permits and other information should be sent to:
